Chocolate Avocado mousse presented in 4 serving glasses on a tray.

Ingredients

  • 2 Ripe Avocados
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp simple syrup, honey or maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Pit, peel and cut avocados, reserve in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Sieve cocoa powder and mix in with avocado.
  3. Add coconut milk, syrup and vanilla extract.
  4. Melt dark chocolate in a bowl set over a pot of gently simmering water.
  5. Mix in melted chocolate with rest of preparation. Spoon into individual dessert receptacles
  6. Spoon the mixture into individual dessert servings. Refrigerate for minimum 2 hours before consumption.
